This morning on a long-existing spreadsheet, insert comment is not
working. When I rt-click 'insert comment' the little red box shows up in
the cell, but the balloon doesn't open. When I click on the little red
box, it just disappears.

There are quite a few comments on the spreadsheet already. So this is a
new problem which seems to have come out of nowhere.

Using Lo 7.4.6.2 on Ubuntu LTS 20.04.6 on DELL XPS.


This works for me, using LibreOffice 7.4.6.2 on Ubuntu Studio 20.04. Have
you tried to reset your LibreOffice profile?
