To whom it may concern!

I have a serious problem with a book chapter that I nearly completed some weeks ago with Libre
Office. I opened and closed it several times so there is no doubt that I save the content. Two or
three weeks ago I opened the file again just to discover that help of its content was gone. I
couldn’t find any other copy of the file on iCloud or on the recently opened list. I found some
hints online about what to do, several of them recommended to go to

Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Paths

but I can’t find this path anywhere on my MacBook (even after making hidden files visible. I would
very much appreciate some help open on this matter. I invested considerable time to write this part
of the chapter. I thank you advance for your response.
Sincerely
Reinhard Schweitzer-Stenner
