[libreoffice-users] Help finding the last piece of writing

Hi there,
I am in a blind panic.
I am trying to find a writing document I am working on.
I have saved it at various times but really wanted the last one I worked on.
I always save it but can’t seem to find it at the moment.
It usually appears in my desktop I put all of them into a file but when I open libre it’s not 
showing the most recent version I worked on.
Can anyone please help me.
