Hi all,

is it possible to store an autotext entry within a document (as it is
possible for a macro) instead of storing it in the local filesystem?
Maybe by means of associating it to a macro? Seems like a useful
feature for autotext snippets closely related to specific documents.

Thanks a lot

AutoTexts are stored in the AutoText folder which is located in the
user folder. There is also an AutoText folder in the installation
folder. So this sounds like the answer is no, but read on ...
You can quickly make an autotext from any document. I think it
takes about 10 small steps, maybe less.
You can also send others a set of autotext entries if you want to
do that. It is a matter of finding the file holding the autotext you
want to send, send it, and the other party places the file in the
AutoText folder which is in the user folder.
